Within an exhibition area of 23 sq. meters, tourism professionals from the islands of Santorini, Naxos, Amorgos, Milos, Ios, Kea, Leros and Kos marina had the opportunity to present their related businesses and promote their respective destinations in a wide audience.
According to the participants, the feedback stemming from the boat show was very encouraging for the future.Germany counts at least three million potential travellers interested in this kind of activity.
As stated by Mrs Eleftheria Ftaklaki - Deputy Head of the South Aegean - "This is a very promising effort for the promotion of the islands as far as alternative forms of tourism is concerned, and many more of this kind could follow if we wish to gain further ground and create sustainable synergies in the future for the Cyclades and the Dodecanese”.
