Could the natural spectacle of Santorini become even more impressive?

The answer is “Yes” and it is given by the team Airpano which recently completed an aerial photoshoot of the island. 

Airpano effectuates aerial photoshoots of monuments, archaeological sites and tourist attractions all over the world and produces an impressive set of high resolution panoramic photographs of each project. The photographic material yielded aims at capturing - for example - a city, an island or a monument with a bird-eye-view, thus, with a perspective as though the observer was flying over the particular site. 

The team has visited numerous interesting sites worldwide and has produced high resolution panoramic photographs of various of UNESCO's Monuments of World Cultural Heritage, as well as, some of the most significant historic monuments of the world, such as: the Taj Mahal, the Tower of Pisa, the Matsu Pitsu, the Giza pyramids and the Kremlin.

Their first project in Greece concerns the aerial depiction of the unique island of Santorini in the Cyclades. The material yielded...is simply sensational.
