The Zagori waterfall complex has as many as three separate waterfalls and you may find it quite hard to discover them, since the spot is “well hidden” and constitutes a spectacle for the few among us who will make the effort to approach it and see its splendor from close up.

The waterfalls are situated at the village of Iliohori in the area of Zagori and the location’s exact name is ‘Balta di Strigga’.

The three waterfalls are lined up and the largest of the three has a height of 25 meters. In between the waterfalls, small lakes are naturally formulated, which, in combination with the beautiful nature all around make the scenery an absolute must-see. 

In order to approach the actual scenery, all you have to do is take the path from the edge of the village just off the chapel of Agios Nikolaos. Walk towards the neighboring village of Laista for about 500 meters until you reach the split of the path. Signs will show you which way to go to the waterfalls from then on.
