Painting exhibition with views to the rocks of Meteora

Ananti City Resort is going to be hosting the exhibition of Greek painter Apostolos Kotoulas with 25 of his paintings under the title “Mnimosini”.
The painter's work focuses on the never ending alternation between completeness and emptiness, the light and darkness, talking and keeping quiet, being and no being, movement and stagnation, memory and fantasy, time and nostalgia, melancholy and sorrow. Landscapes without any human presence inundated by an eternal and deep romantic sentiment. Koutoula’s painting technique has a large dose of poetry and it catches the eye through its acutely sentimental character.
Apostolos Kotoulas was born in the city of Thessaloniki in Northern Greece. He has held a series of 3 private exhibitions but has also presented his work through group exhibitions and international events of modern art, plus art workshops in both Greece and abroad. In parallel, he has published his very own poetry collection titled “Room 19” (Thessaloniki, 2010).
