This year, Greece is once again listed as high as the 2^nd place among the countries with the most beaches with a “Blue Flag”.  49 countries altogether are included in the list, so Greece does us justice with its 393 awarded beaches and its 9 awarded marinas.

The International Committee awarded a total of 3.103 beaches and 626 marinas around the globe for this year alone, so our country can take real pride of the number of blue flags it acquired, which constitute the truest proof that its shores are true gems.
