4 beaches in Greece among the top 100 in the world

According to the relevant list, No. 1 beach on the planet is that of Grand Anse in the Seychelles, while the best among the four beaches in Greece is listed 24th out of the top 100 and it is called Egkremni in Lefkada - an island of the Ionian Sea -. The three other beaches in Greece, are that of Navaghio on the island of Zante (Zakinthos – Ionian Sea) listed 32nd and two more on the superb island of Crete: The beach of Balos in the county of Chania listed 35th and Falassarna beach in the same county earning a place within the top 100 too.

CNN also mentions :

EGKREMNI: After the construction of the road that leads to the beach during the 90s, it became a very popular pole of attraction on the island of Lefkada, due to its dynamic sunsets, its turquoise blue waters and its long stretch of golden sand.

NAVAGHIO: Its name in Greek means shipwreck…All you need to know is that it is, indeed, a fantastic beach and the wreck of the ship half-buried in the middle of the beach, makes the scenery even more bewildering and mysterious.

BALOS: Do not visit the beach without a camera. You will not be able to resist capturing this lagoon-like paradise of pink, blue and turquoise magic.

FALASSARNA: Visiting this beach, you will not have to worry if there is sufficient space for you to lay your towel…there is plenty of space for absolutely everyone.
