The large participation of 27.000 voters at the survey leaves no room for a doubt.
In addition, according to "Kathimerini" Sunday newspaper, Greece takes the 7th place in the actual survey while within the top ten we also see countries such as the USA, Spain, Japan, Thailand, Italy, Mexico, Germany, England and Australia. Our country is also listed 25th among countries which are considered as inexpensive destinations, with an average price at 106 euros per room per night. Greece is a cheaper destination compared to its "competitors" in the eastern Mediterranean and the capital city Athens appears in the 21st position of affordable destinations.
