Kavafis: fine Greek poetry hosted in Plato’s Academy Leisure Park

The Leisure Park portraying Akademia Platonos in Athens, is transformed into an exhibition space and hosts digital works of art based on poems by significant Greek poet Konstantinos Kavafis.

The Visual Dialogues 2013 will be taking place again this year for the third consecutive time, organized once again by the Onassis Cultural Centre on the occasion of both the 150th anniversary since the birth and the 80th anniversary since the death of one of the finest modern Greek poets, Konstantinos Kavafis (April 29th 1863 - April 29th 1933).

Ten contemporary artists have created their own original and brand new projects with the aid of technology, inspired by the poetry of Konstantinos Kavafis. Video projections, electronic and digital images and photos or animation will be presented within special architectural constructions.
