1st Petit Paris d' Athènes festival

1st Petit Paris d' Athènes festival

12 theatrical plays, 30 musical concerts, 9 visual and photographic exhibitions, 10 conferences and several open discussions among intellectuals all combine to shed some light to one of the most devalued regions of central Athens. A festival of artistic expression, with a special focus on the specific nuances of theater and localized on one of the most historic neighbourhoods of central Athens where most streets have French names.

The 1st Petit Paris d' Athènes festival will be held between the 9th and 16th of October and is dedicated to Albert Camus for the 100th anniversary since his birth. The festival is localised at one of the most historic corners and - unfortunately - most devalued of all in central Athens -including Vathi square, Karaiskaki square plus the neighborhoods of Metaxourghio, Aghios Pavlos and Larissa Station- where one will get the greatest taste of how the Athenian urban civilization and tradition now mixes with the eternal waves of illegal immigrants but also the passing by travellers and visitors of the capital who wish to "take a walk on the wild side"....
