British Airways brings London closer to Mykonos and Santorini
British Airways announced two new routes to Greece for summer 2014 which will be connecting the UK with the Greek islands of Mykonos and Santorini, thus demonstrating further commitment to Greece.
The new direct flights by British Airways to Mykonos and Santorini will be commencing as of the 3rd of May to Mykonos and as of the 4th of May to Santorini and twice weekly to each destination for the whole of the tourist season 2014.
As stated by the Director of British Airways in Greece, Mrs Freddie Stier: "the airline continues to invest in new services and routes for summer 2014 and selects Greece in wishing to offer more connections for passengers flying from Britain to the popular Greek destinations of Mykonos and Santorini". She continues by adding:
“British Airways has always been a link of the Greek society and economy and we believe that through those two new connections we will strengthen the local economy and we will boost those two areas by also giving the opportunity to even more visitors to experience the beautiful Greek summer".

British Airways celebrates 80 years of presence in Greece. Today, it operates three daily flights between Athens and London and has also been connecting the city of Thessaloniki and London since 2005.
