Mani region: A gastronomic parade of festive Greek dishes tantalizes our senses this Christmas

The region of Mani in the Peloponnese is an impressive destination that appeals for a visit at any of the year's four seasons...

Especially for the festive period of Christmas and the New Year, we have a further reason to select it for our vacation which is no other than to feast to the local gastronomic delicacies!

We choose to spend our festive getaway at Kyrimai Hotel in the area of Gerolimenas in Mani which promises to tantalize our senses with two sublime menus for Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, that combine harmoniously a selection of exquisite Greek ingredients through an abstract and modern approach to the local cuisine...sensed at every bite.

Kyrimai Hotel’s multi-award winning chef Yiannis Baxevanis is known to create chic, unpretentious and inventive takes on classic Greek dishes honouring the local tastes in the best possible way. Both festive menus rely on the culinary arts of one of Greece’s favourite chefs.
